About the Position: The incumbent is responsible for managing the efficient coordination and accomplishment of the planning scope, development, design, and direction of major projects.

Duties

Serves as Project Manager responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects. Coordinates the planning, design, cost, etc., for projects of substantial scope and complexity as, measured by the in diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical intricacies, and public issues. Primary point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer; Federal, state, and local government agencies, interest; other external organizations, and higher authorities. Participates in programming decisions affecting long and shortrange courses of action for assigned projects. Provides input to the operating budget related to projects assigned.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (SCFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
