Duties

This position is located under the Office of Professional Responsibility and Security Operations, Inspection Division in Arlington, Virginia The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst (DOO) supervising an administrative staff and analyzing and evaluating programs to improve the efficiency of internal administrative operations, organizations, or management procedures; and serving as an expert advisor to the OPRSO executive staff and the Division's Chiefs. To qualify for GS-14 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience include: Managing or leading a team; AND Developing long-range planning which includes administrative and operational matters, budgetary activities, strategic planning, formulating policies, fiscal/personnel resources and issues affecting program operations; AND Advising management of the organization's issues, concerns, initiatives and programs.
