This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, assessing, planning, integrating, coordinating and providing military advice regarding Joint, Multinational, Interagency and other Mission Partner logistics information systems, information and data-related strategies, concepts, technologies and capabilities, and digital modernization strategies
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Provides doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, assessments and best military advice for Joint, Multinational, and Interagency logistics information systems, information and data-related strategies, concepts, technologies and capabilities;
Reviews and assesses logistics data and/or IT-related DOTMLPF-P changes;
Coordinates with Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Principal Staff Assistants (PSA), Services, Agencies and other appropriate organizations to identify and synchronize logistics aspects of existing or planned initiatives, programs, capabilities, demonstrations, exercises, wargames and other events in order to influence and inform logistics and command and control capability development;
Reviews and analyzes Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) requirements documentation for the development of logistics capabilities and / or systems;
Provides analysis, assessments, and best military advice regarding risk of cyber threats to critical logistics missions and infrastructure
Advises senior leaders on policy, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures for the protection of logistics information systems and Joint logistics capabilities.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
Provides doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, assessments and best military advice for Joint, Multinational, and Interagency logistics information systems, information and data-related strategies, concepts, technologies and capabilities;
Synchronizes and aligns the Joint Concept for Contested Logistics (JCCL) Lines of Effort (LOE) attributes and functional characteristics with the Joint All Domain Command and Control attributes and functional characteristics;
Reviews and analyzes Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) requirements documentation for the development of logistics capabilities and/or systems;
Works within an Operational Logistics Planning Team, conducts requirements decomposition, identifies and tracks metrics, and recommends potential data sources;
Guides and influences Combatant Command, Service and Agency efforts to document and define mission relevant cyberspace terrain supporting logistics critical assets

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
