You will serve as a Supervisory Senior Logistics Management Specialist for the Spares and Fleet Logistics Support Branch within the Immediate Office of the Chief Naval Operations.
Duties
You will oversee and monitor COMNAVSUPSYSCOM’s performance and progress on Navy’s Transportation of Things Auditability program.
You will establish priorities, prepare schedules for completion of work and provides instruction on matters relating to work assignments and administrative matters.
You will serve as a requirements manager for acquisition, logistics, and oversight (for NAVSUP products and services); Service-Wide Transportation and Navy-wide Transportation of Things Auditability.
You will be responsible for oversight, coordination, and monitoring of Husbanding Service Provider (HSP) program and issuance and maintenance of policy.
You will provide supervisory and oversight functions for military, civilians, and contractors, including work assignments, general oversight, and required personnel management and leadership functions.
You will initiate, develop, review and administer Navy policy on all aspects of transportation to include material, mail, household goods, and passenger services.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following;
1) Budgeting and financial control, including audit, experience as resource sponsor and requirements manager.
2) Formulating policy issuance and maintenance experience.
3) Performing logistics, distribution, traffic management, and transportation processes and policy experience liaising with multiple organizations across the Joint logistics enterprise (OSD, Joint Staff, Military Services and Fleet engagements).
4) Supervising and oversight experience for civilian, military and contractors, including hiring experience for civilians.
5) Utilizing knowledge of Transportation, Logistics and Supply Management IT processes and complementary data software.
6) Working with all Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
