You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Allocation, NRL & CNO Financial Management Branch, Code 0823 of OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.
Duties
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will formulate the budget and estimate the support plans, programs and activities.
You will develop, determinate and interpret the budget policies and practices.
You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and budgets.

- This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing or advising on work in any of the performance of functions such as formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities; 2) Reviewing and evaluating budget request; 3) Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; and 4) Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization.
