About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, Executive Director for Support Operations, SPO Material Readiness Directorate, Rock Island Arsenal, IL
Duties
Serves as Division Chief of Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) Maintenance Division .
Manages Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) maintenance in consonance with the current APS Strategy.
Responsible to develop both Program and Division goals and objectives for APS maintenance tracking, analysis and estimates.
Provides support to Army Field Support Brigade Commanders and BDE staff in executing all Acquisition, Logistics and Technology functions and missions.
Provides supervision to assigned civilian personnel and functional management to assigned military personnel in the execution of the MRD mission.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary duty travel 0f 10% may be required.

One year of specialized experience which includes: develop Program and Division goals and objectives for APS or similar large complex program maintenance tracking; manage Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) or similar equipment maintenance; conducts maintenance research and analysis determining multi-year schedules and plans; assign work based on priorities and skill requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
