You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Ordnance Assessment & Logistics Branch (E13), in the Energetic Systems Division (E1), within the Systems Engineering Department (E) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.
The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will serve as the Branch Manager responsible for supervising the Logistics Branch in the Energetic Systems Division, responsible for logistics management of
weapons systems across the Energetic Systems Division.
You will provide supervision and leadership to logisticians, engineers, administrative professionals, and technicians within the branch.
You will provide administrative supervision tasks such as conducting performance reviews, establishing development and training plans, assigning tasking, and reviewing and monitoring performance.
You will establish and monitor the logistics cost, schedule, performance, and quality of assigned projects within the branch and projects across the Energetics Systems Division portfolio.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and evaluating Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) requirements to meet logistical plans and objectives in the acquisition and sustainment of weapons systems for the effectiveness and efficiency of a program.
