You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CAD/PAD Division (E2) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary for the NT-05 position may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will lead the work of team members to achieve Cartridge Actuated Device (CAD) / Propellant Actuated Device (PAD) CAD/PAD Logistics specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program and logistical goals.
You will be accountable for outcomes and results, e.g., timely delivery of quality work products, services and program health metrics produced by the team.
You will assist the team through knowledge and application of integrated product support, CAD/PAD Virtual Fleet Support, leadership and team building
skills.
You will be responsible for group facilitation, coordination, coaching, problem solving, interpersonal communication, integration of work processes and products, obtaining resources and liaising with the supervisor.
You will work with the logistics team and CAD/PAD Joint Program Office to support the F-35 program.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing Integrated Product Support (IPS) to deliver logistics products and services to sustain operational readiness and improve the efficiency of weapons system programs.
