You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECALIST (Integrated Logistics Support Manager) in the EOD DEPARTMENT (D), ACQUISITION AND TECHNOLOGY DIVISION (D2), UNMANNED SYSTEMS BRANCH (D23) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).
Duties
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics activities from conceptualization through documentation and ultimately execution throughout the lifecycle of DoD programs of record.
You will ensure the successful acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of military systems.
You will serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Unmanned Systems logistics support for EOD to include directing the
completion of logistics work within the team.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to define logistics requirements, including transportation, maintenance, supply chain, and sustainment.
You will develop comprehensive logistics plans that cover acquisition, deployment, and operational phases.
You will establish maintenance and sustainment strategies to maximize system availability and reliability.
You will plan for system modifications, upgrades, and eventual disposal.
You will monitor equipment performance, assess maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs.
You will leverage digital models to optimize maintenance, supply chain, and readiness while using data-driven insights to allocate resources effectively.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) requirements to meet logistical plans and objectives in the acquisition and sustainment of military systems for the effectiveness and efficiency of a program.
