You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the N2 COMBAT SYSTEMS BRANCH of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.

Duties

You will provide oversight and expertise in Combat Systems operations and maintenance management for 10 independent Echelon III and below armory operations. You will coordinate and perform Combat Systems command assessments regarding accountability, security, maintenance, training, administration, inventory management, issue, receipt, storage, transportation, and repair of Combat Systems equipment. You will compile and analyze data to determine stock levels needed for repair parts based on usage, inventory, projected and operational demands, multiple customer requirements, and projected inventory adjustments. You will act as the Database Configuration Manager for Combat Systems related change proposals in the database(s) used for armory centric life cycle sustainment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing direction, guidance, and/or coordination for activities of systems/equipment including logistics related reliability and maintainability, maintenance plans and supply support; Identifying ways to resolve critical support problems which directly affect the fielding and supportability of agency systems.
