You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Terminal Defense Systems Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as the Facilities Lab Manager for Directed Energy (DE) Systems and provide facility and laboratory support for the Direct Energy System Integration Laboratory (DESIL).
You will provide leadership, coordination, project planning, and overall facility task management of all efforts at DESIL.
You will oversee the maintenance and repair of all laboratory equipment and facilities ensuring that all systems are operational and comply with safety standards.
You will maintain an accurate inventory of lab supplies and equipment, order new materials, and ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
You will act as the primary point of contact between lab personnel, maintenance staff, and external vendors.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements to plan and coordinate logistics functions and develop solutions to logistics issues for a warfare program.
