You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST (EDUCATION & TRAINING) in the EDUCATION AND TRAINING DIVISION, DIRECTORATE MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER, of NAVMEDFORPAC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will serve as staff advisor for Navy Medicine Total Force training and education policies, programs, and practices. You will provide headquarters oversight, study and analysis for Navy Medicine education and training policy and guidance. You will perform duties for corporate level Navy medicine education and training initiatives requiring thorough research, analysis, coordination, data synthesis and executive level correspondence. You will act in lieu of the Director (assume the Director's authorities and responsibilities) in the absence of the Director. You will make recommendations for the revision or development of new policies or regulatory guidance to resolve policy issues. You will advise the Director Education and Training on designated Navy Medicine education and training issues related to total force management. You will serve as a headquarters education and training program advisor ensuring efficient use of education and training resources.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience researching and analyzing training issues and data to incorporate into current educational training policies, standards, and plans Experience providing education and training advisory services on training request validations, educational performance improvement initiatives, accreditations, and evaluation and consolidation proposals Experience conducting validity and reliability studies to assess education and training program needs, priorities, feasibility and education project proposals Experience utilizing automated training management and information systems for education and training communication, research, and documentation Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
