You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the OPS PLANS & READINESS (Future Ops) of NAVMEDFORPAC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will serve as the senior Master Black Belt.
You will coordinate with the Lean Six Sigma/IS stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality development of LSS/IS monthly/quarterly deliverables, including project reports, program metrics, strategic plan update/revision, and training updates.
You will lead complex projects, often cutting across multiple service/organizational/activity lines within Navy Medicine and DoD.
You will serve as a Master Black Belt (MBB) Advisor/Consultant in a medical/healthcare environment.
You will serve as a Master Black Belt (MBB) Advisor/Consultant in a medical/healthcare environment.
You will coordinate and oversee Lean Six Sigma training including Champion, Green Belt and Black Belt. Provides training on IS tools and project selection.
You will serve as a mentor to Black Belt (BB) and Green Belt (GB) candidates crossing 18 commands across the Region, throughout the project lifecycle to ensure proper completion.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to a broad range of functional areas, (preferably in a healthcare environment);
Utilizing a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to accomplish complex analysis;
Applying multiple process improvement techniques, (e.g., Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Theory of Constraints (TOC)), supply chain management, benchmarking, metric/statistical analysis, simulation modeling and healthcare and other functional area process flow charting;
Providing guidance and instruction while involved personnel use an organized, structured, and robust Improvement Sciences (IS) methodology to provide recommendations, solutions, and process controls; AND
Developing innovative and feasible solutions to address complex issues in which the boundaries are broad and where root cause is difficult to determine in advance.
