You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEM INTEGRATION DIVISION, MODERNIZATION & INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will lead diverse teams of engineers, logisticians, technicians, and contractors. You will provide technical services to Integration, Test and Evaluation, and Life Cycle Engineering and Logistics support of Surface Combatant ships, systems, and related equipment during Constructions, Availability and Modernization events. You will provide technical services to ensure that Combat Systems and their elements are successfully integrated on Surface Combatants; including the generation and issue of tasking and associated funding. You will develop comprehensive course of action plans to mitigate financial and/or technical risks to assigned programs and projects.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical or managerial oversight of the test and evaluation process (e.g., program coordination, requirements determination, resource utilization, scenario development) in support of naval combat or weapon systems or programs.
