You will serve as a Supervisory General Business and Industrial Specialist (Shipbuilding) in the In-service Submarine Project Office of SUPSHIP.
Duties
You will provide administrative and technical supervision to the in-Service Submarine staff.
You will formulate In-Service submarine unique polices and approaches.
You will review, analyze, and interpret NAVSEA programmatic goals and objectives.
You will conduct continuing review and analysis of all formal technical document associate with In-service submarine contacts.
You will review Navy generated Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for overall design and production engineering impact.
You will review contractor generated technical data and information, both general and specific data deliverables.
You will review progress of work against schedules and milestones.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing contractor performance in the repair, modernization and construction for nuclear submarines
