This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Information Services. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (ENTARCH), you will serve as Manager of the Business Information and Analytics Branch responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Bureau's Business Architecture and Data Architecture practices.
Duties
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (ENTARCH), you will:
Be responsible for the Bureau's Business and Data Architecture programs, perform the managerial functions of program planning, program direction and communication, resource management, and program monitoring and evaluation.
Ensure that resources are effectively and appropriately used to accomplish program goals. Provide guidance and technical direction, delegate duties and responsibilities, and ensure that an effective and technically knowledgeable staff is maintained.
Review and evaluate program progress and goals to ensure completion of projects in accordance with established milestones, and take corrective action, when necessary, to achieve program goals.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Experience performing Information Technology (IT) work that involves the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization in order to provide enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams.
Examples of specialized experience for this position include the following:
- Serving in a senior or leadership role (senior analyst, technical lead, project manager, etc.) responsible for successfully delivering a major IT project.
- Conducting detailed analysis or modeling of a systems current or planned technical architecture.
- Developing and conducting meetings involving presentations to customers, executive management, and/or partners.
AND
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in:
1. Customer Service, such as understanding business needs and translating them into technical capabilities.
2. Communication, such coordinating engineering activities to promote consistent and effective designs.
3. Problem Solving, such as collaborating with business areas to broker technology solutions based on established criteria.
4. Attention to Detail, such as reviewing and evaluating program progress and goals to ensure completion of projects in accordance with established milestones.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
