You will serve as a Supervisory Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Management Specialist within Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) E-2/C-2 Fleet Support Team (FST).
Duties
You will be responsible for the coordination and integration of all logistics activities within the FMS team.
You will provide expert consultation to the FST on matters relating to FMS logistics support management.
You will formulate and articulate FMS strategies for life cycle logistics support and affordable readiness to the Program Manager, Air (PMA) and the PMA's FMS Lead and Integrated Program Team (IPT) leads.
You will provide resources and processes to support and maintain the intended mission capability to preserve the planning operational life and to achieve readiness goals.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responsible for all Logistics and aspects/phases, from Concept Exploration to Disposal, of assigned programs. 2) Experience working on FMS aircraft programs. 3) Provides expert consultation to the FST on matters relating to logistics support management. Advises the FST on FMS operations and provides adequate notification of problems and issues evolving from those operations. 4) Briefs senior Navy officials regarding program logistics issues and represents FRCSW FST in high level focus groups concerned with problems, issues, developments and innovations surrounding logistics management. 5) Assists FMS activities in support of the FST to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts. 6) Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. 7) Provides resources and processes to support and maintain the intended mission capability; to maintain inherent design capabilities of the systems at the minimum expenditure of resources to preserve the planning operational life and to achieve readiness goals.
