About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1E8AA USA INTELLIGENCE CTR OF EXCELLENCE. Serve as a Branch Chief in the Directorate of Doctrine and intelligence Systems Training (DDIST).
Duties
Develops Military Intelligence system training plan for new/improved MI and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems.
Performs an analysis and development of system Critical Task Lists.
Creates, implements and updates Doctrine and Tactics Training.
Develops and implements system training/training support and certification of training for Army MI systems Operational Testing.
Develops concepts and requirements for system training technologies and methodologies.
Performs analysis and assist with requirements development for system Training Aids, Simulators or Simulations
Supervises/leads personnel, prioritizes support, develops work plans, enforces standards, and organizes resources for training development and instruction.
Responsible for administrative and technical support for team of training developers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

To qualify, applicants must have one year or more of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing training and training development activities associated with the development, testing, certification, and fielding of new and product improved Military Intelligence systems for GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT and/or Military Intelligence systems maintainers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
