You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Marine Corps Installations Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will make recommendations on non-routine, costly or controversial training needs and training requests.
You will coordinate the development and application of training for Marines and civilians on all physical security and electronic security systems provided to the installations.
You will analyze and interpret legal statutes and privacy policies established by higher authority in order to formulate strategy and policy for physical security programs and initiatives.
You will perform issue analysis and find solutions to problems affecting Marine Corps capabilities and the impact on the Marine Corps mission.
You will support the Program Manager to ensure Marine Corps efforts are unified, effective, and supportable and in line with existing DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps strategy, doctrine, and requirements.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: implementing Physical Security and Electronic Security Systems policy and assists the Program Manager; and conducts reviews and evaluates physical security programs.
