This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA EII/ENTRPRS INTEGR AND INNOV - OFC OF CH INFO OFCR DIRECTORATE.
Duties
Coordinates internal projects, tasks, and action items on behalf of the CIO office assuring that all due outs are managed, staffed and properly executed within defined timelines.
Perform as timekeeper, track supply, training, and travel budget, and conduct accountability actions for the Office of the CIO, maintaining Privacy, HIPAA, and Records Management compliance.
Maintains executive calendars, proactively de-conflicting meetings, obtaining read-ahead materials up to 48 hours in advance of meeting, and responding to meeting requests timely and effectively. Maintain professional communications at all times.
Oversees the administration of all briefings, document for review, and requests for signature involving the CIO and Deputy CIO; ensuring language, tone, and content is professional and formatted accurately.
On behalf of the CIO, acts as the primary Task Officer/Action Officer, facilitating all tasks and suspense items received for action, review, or response.
Manages incoming information requests for DCIO/CIO, evaluates relevance, identifies alternate contacts, assigns task within OCIO, and coordinates with DISA organizations to transfer the action to the identified POC.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in multi-tasking a wide variety of complex administrative and management practices and initiatives such as organizational project planning, executive calendar management, general office support, timekeeping, personnel accountability, and supply, training, and travel budget management as well as tracking organizational actions and management.
