About the Position: Located at Headquarters US Army Forces Command Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Fort Bragg is a culturally diverse area with rural and city populations, co-located at Fayetteville, NC centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys a temperate year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities. Fayetteville is centrally located between the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.
Duties
Serves as a Department of the Army (DA) and Forces Command (FORSCOM) training authority that analyzes, develops and reviews training strategies and plans used to establish and set official Command training.
Assists in the development of operational and structure policy, plans and programs for the Army.
Directs and monitors Army operations for the AC to RC support program, AC/RC associations, multi-component and AC/RC integrated training.
Develops command positions concerning appropriate AC/RC operational and support force structures. Designs training support structures.
Provides a variety of management insights, facts and experiential base of skills and knowledge to the end of optimum management of the commands training process.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1). Experience in developing and reviewing experimental and future strategic and operational training strategies; 2). Experience in developing and disseminating FORCES Command Training Guidance and Regulations; And, 3). Experience in the use of Army Sustainable Resourcing Model process; 4) Experienced in military training and force management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
