You will serve as a Fuels Specialist (controller) in the fuels department, maintenance division of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.
Duties
You will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of complex fuel distribution systems
You will be responsible for developing procedures and safety plans
You will administer the car seal program to ensure valves and components are maintained in the correct position
You will maintain and administer the Lockout Tagout (LOTO) program to ensure safety procedures are followed

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized Fuels Specialist (controller) experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector; applying a thorough knowledge of Federal and agency fuel maintenance of complex fuel distribution systems related to the Fuels program and operations area in order to receive , store, and dispense petroleum and lube oil products. Examples of specialized experience must include a majority includes the following: 1)knowledge of planning maintenance of fuel and non-fuel facilities ; 2) performs maintenance planning ,develops scope of work, and initiates work authorizations forms (WAF)for maintenance and repairs; 3)experience in fuel system maintenance and procedures to ensure operation requirements are met; 4)Knowledge of potential hazards dealing with fuel and fuel systems/equipment and 5) experience with maintenance and repair work of the fuel pipeline..

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
