You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST, Corporate Operations Officer, in the Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION.
As the Corporate Operations Officer you will provide support to the department leadership team in various facets of technical and business operations including suggestions to aid and contribute to executive decision making and special projects. The primary special project will support the department's Project Management Competency
Duties
You will apprentice with the members of the Department’s Executive Management Team.
You will serve as a development opportunity in the planning, monitoring, and administration of Department functions, responsible for contributing to the Department operational and business management processes and support services.
You will attend regular meetings with the department staff, division managers and personnel.
You will assist with department-level action tracking and management, hybrid workforce, effective and efficient communication and tracking.
You will complete/brief data reports, documents, reports, and communiques prepared for and/or on behalf of the Department Management Team.
You will coordinate activities with the Department Division Managers and personnel to execute processes and procedures aligned with the priorities of the Department.
You will handle day-to-day coordination of tasks as assigned, to allow Department leaders to focus on growing capabilities and strategic issues that affect the Department or command.
You will prepare department leadership for upcoming meetings by ensuring they have all the information necessary to be productive and engaged.
You will work with the Executive Assistant (EA) and management team to organize Department retreats, conferences, and other special events.
You will route tasks and assignments through division managers and supervisors tracking progress and analyzing results to determine problematic areas.
You will help to identify where corrective action is needed and provide assistance and advice to the department leadership team where problems exist and/or are developing.
You will provide feedback concerning the development and management of corporate operations and business procedures, and operational schedules that are necessary for maintaining a complex and multifaceted organization.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting operational, business, and strategic management processes to track progress, coordinate with managers, prepare reports and manage special projects in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness for an operations program.
