About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Industrial Base Ops & Maintenance Integration Directorate. Duties

Establish and monitor development and progress of numerous plans and programs pertaining to Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) materiel requirements for managed commodities/supply classes. Ensure assigned logistics, maintenance, supply and materiel readiness programs are executed according to operational plans and directives. Provide analysis of near and long-term effects of materiel requirements, availability, budget/funding constraints and the impact on the ability of Army Prepositioned Stock to meet mission and operational requirements. Advise on the implementation and effectiveness of integrated automated data processing legacy and modernization systems that aid in accomplishing the materiel management and supply functions and operations. Integrate complex actions pertaining to the execution of TACOM Army Prepositioned Stack (APS) mission. Research, analyze, interpret and implement policies and guidelines relative to mobilization, prepositioning requirements, assets, and programs.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel at least 25% of the time for business.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower band/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
