You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO site at Point Mugu.
Duties
You will be responsible for coordinating and executing business management plans, providing oversight to departmental audit efforts, improvement initiatives, and assisting with the development of organizational strategy.
You will monitor, track, and report performance status; coordinate with site management to identify weaknesses; perform root-cause analysis; and lead departmental efforts to identify, consolidate, and implement process improvements.
You will monitor multiple existing business systems and subsets of business systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Microsoft Teams Applications, and more.
You will utilize data mining and analytic techniques to perform analyses of program execution and status.
You will perform multiple programmatic and business management related tasks including: performing workload studies, time studies, standard operation procedures (SOP) development and refinement, and various business-case analyses.
You will assist site management in execution of NAVSUP Enterprise audit-related programs such as Manager's Review and Control (MRC), Measures of Performance (MOP), and the Qualification Card Program.
You will serve as a central liaison between the site and various internal stakeholders for audit-related matters
You will serve as an analyst for an over-the-horizon (OTH) site within the Supply Management department.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a thorough knowledge of general supply program management, supply policy requirements, and continuous process improvement principles, philosophy, and techniques to contribute to effective quality assurance operations, warehouse operations management and material management. You must also have experience advising others regarding supply management functions, resource planning, and experience utilizing various software's to mine and analyze data. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Directing studies requiring application of advanced analytical and statistical methods to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements; 2) Developing and monitoring metrics associates with a diverse set of products and services to track performance; 3) Resolving supply operations and material management issues using qualitative and quantitative methods; 4) Analyzing data inconsistencies for the creation of reports using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; and 5) Assisting in the development of short and long range program policies, goals and objectives for process improvement
