You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the RANGES TRGTS OPS INSTRMTN and LABS GROUP (RTOIL), THREAT TARGET SYSTEMS DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will serve as Deputy to Division Head in Pacific Target and Marine Operation Division. You will be the first level supervisor providing technical and administrative supervision in a fast paced and high performing division that conducts aerial and surface target operations worldwide. You will direct, organizes, set objectives, and plans the work. You will lead daily operations including leadership, management, operational support processes, asset and inventory sustainment, contract oversight, financial management, safety and security of multi-faceted aerial and surface target organization. You will coord cross-organization within the TTSD, ranges, support agencies, IPT/TPOs, sponsors, cust. to meet customer support requirements, and sets the command atmosphere for mission safety, balanced with a cust. focus to complete the mission.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Providing overall direction, coordination, and supervision of personnel to include experience drafting and conducting performance evaluations; 2) Preparing planning documents associated with program organization; 3) Developing test plans, conducting tests, conducting data analysis, and efforts related to weapons test and evaluation; 4) Managing and supporting the DOD weapons system acquisition processes; and 5) Demonstrating a working knowledge of test and evaluation techniques, Operational Risk Management (ORM), and Crew Resource Management (CRM); 6) Managing contracting efforts; 7) Responding to Departmental level data calls, personnel end strength, budget estimation and POM development, budget and financial management; 8) Taking the lead role in preserving and improving critical facilities and infrastructure.
