You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will lead Integrated Logistics Support or Logistics Element Management function and program planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating or evaluating logistical actions in support of new systems acquisition or sustainment programs.
You will lead personnel with a variety of logistics expertise in developing and implementing programmatic requirements from acquisition through phase out.
You will facilitate management goals developing changes to program requirements utilizing available resources with minimum risk to the quality of work.
You will provide the leadership to integrate various department processes and initiatives in support of applicable Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department Project Offices.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading Integrated Product Support or Logistics Element Management program logistical actions (e.g., planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating, or evaluating) in support of new acquisition or sustainment programs for combat or weapon systems.
