Duties
You will process funding execution documents using appropriate financial management systems. Reviews, monitors, and reports on financial status of programs to execute funds in accordance with panning documents and regulatory guidance/policies.
You will review execution documents/reports using available financial management systems.
You will monitor obligations and expenditures, ensuring financial accounts are balanced against plans and established benchmarks.
You will perform or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. The work is concerned with the performance of functions such as: formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will implement legal and regulatory control over approved budget.
You will perform all duties assigned that is aligned with occupational series of a Financial Management Analyst 0501 and to support all Divisions under 08 Directorate.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Position requires incumbent to attain DoD Security Cooperation Certification in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 U.S. C., Sect. 384 and Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program 2.0 requirements.
- Incumbent must complete DoD SCW Basic -level certication courses within one year.
- Incumbent must complete DoD SCW foundational level requirements within one year of entering the SC position.
- This is Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (GS-12) or (NH-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilities policies, programs, organizations, functions, resources, and legislation affecting the program(s) and the organizations studied or served, and related customers, functions, resources, and users.
Experience providing qualitative and quantitative analysis to interpret interrelated financial reports and documents.
Experience providing of budgetary functional programs, practices and procedures to include the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and federal appropriation law.
