About the Position: This position is located in Evans Army Community Hospital, Army Health Clinic, Family Medicine Services.

Duties

Initiates, reviews, and distributes permanent profiles. Assist members from the time of receipt of notification pending Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) through various stages of processing until completion of the Clinical Evaluation Process and forwarding to the Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer. Perform a variety of technical and organizational support duties, mainly in the area of work measurement, forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling. Answer non-technical questions concerning appointment providing standardized preparatory instructions for routine procedure for referring to appropriate staff, as required. Perform a variety of standard and non-standard clerical duties to coordinate travel arrangements, services, and medical appointments for patients and their Family members from distant areas of the geographical region. Operate a personal computer to input, store, retrieve, and manipulate data.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
  • This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a favorable result from a National Agency Background Check.
  • Incumbent may be required to successfully complete the 61-F4/340-F3, (physical evaluation board liaison officer) training and certification course within 180 days of the appointment and annually thereafter.
  • This position is inclement weather essential. This means that you must be willing to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
