About the Position: Incumbent will serve as Contact Representative at Evans Army Community Health at Fort Carson, CO.
Duties
Ensures health benefit information is available for beneficiaries and serves as beneficiary advocate and problem-solver providing dedicated service to Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries.
Assist beneficiaries in determining the validity of collection agent claims/negative credit reports received for debts incurred as a result of medical/dental care under the TRICARE Progra
As the subject matter expert the employee plans, executes and processes claims for the Medical Center.
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing health benefit information to beneficiaries on healthcare services, and/or benefits available to beneficiary. Responding to healthcare requests and/or inquires using medical terminology and processes. Specialized knowledge of principles and practices relating to the entire military health care delivery system to include TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid, Other Health Insurance (OHI), Uniformed Services Health Benefits Program (USHBP), CHAMPUS, DEERS, Dependent Dental Plan, Continued Health Care Benefits Program and Supplemental Health Care Program. In depth experience with TRICARE Claims process and ability to resolve unpaid claims issues.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
