The purpose of this position is to serve as a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist, within the Office of Counterintelligence, for DCSA. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief for Analysis, and lead a cadre of intelligence analysts responsible for identifying and assessing foreign intelligence entity (FIE) threats to U.S. critical technologies and information resident within the cleared national industrial base.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Possess knowledge of the intelligence field in the development of new methods, approaches, and procedures. This may include structuring new dissemination techniques or recognizing/developing new uses for finished intelligence or new sources for raw intelligence.
Possess ability to communicate complex ideas and analyses orally and in writing, as well as the ability to gain acceptance of or agreement with controversial recommendations arising from analysis activities.
Possess knowledge of community analytical tools, software and data sources.
Possess ability to develop comprehensive program or project plans to effectively manage and execute complex research projects, studies and or analytical assignment.
Possess advanced knowledge of IC Analytic Integrity Standards, including logical argumentation, relevance to customers, application of structured analytic techniques and application of IC Directives 203, 205, 206, 208 and 710 research methodologies.
Possess knowledge of CI organizations and offices in all DoD Components and possess broad experience and knowledge of all facets of DoD counterintelligence missions, functions, resources and activities at the field, Component headquarters, DoD and national levels.
Possess knowledge of and experience in policy development and metrics and the ability to innovate new methods, techniques and processes needed to respond to evolving circumstances.
