The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior intelligence analyst and subject matter expert engaged in the technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from multiple intelligence sources in support of customer requirements. Provides/enables integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.
Duties
Serves as an expert adviser, consultant, and USSF/S2 spokesperson on space/counterspace intelligence. Represents USSF/S2 as a domain expert on national and international working groups and at meetings which involve space and counterspace experts from across the intelligence, warfighting, and policy communities. Interacts frequently with national-level agencies, to include the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (USD (I&S)), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and the operational and acquisition communities.
Develops, coordinates, and presents authoritative intelligence assessments to a wide variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides senior leaders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from all-source intelligence collection needed to optimize friendly forces to exploit adversary weaknesses and counter adversary strengths. Develops and applies expert knowledge of relevant customer organizations and operations in order to provide appropriate intelligence output or response to meet customer needs.
Directs and conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Conducts research, evaluates, analyzes, and fuses multi-source information from all intelligence discipline to satisfy customer requirements. Utilizes advanced principles, concepts, and procedures for intelligence integration and fusion to synthesize large data sets and make recommendations to senior-level policymakers and other customers. Provides authoritative direction to division analysts in making assessments of foreign military space/counterspace capabilities.
Establishes and monitors adherence to policy and standards for division intelligence production. Manages and oversees intelligence production to satisfy senior leader requirements and those of other customers. Directs and oversees the development of advanced, multidisciplinary analytic methods and techniques to improve relevance, quantity, and quality of intelligence assessments based on current and anticipated information and emergent customer needs. Uses a variety of intelligence production requirement tasking methods to manage external requirements and production schedules to meet customer demand.

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: mastery of a comprehensive range of intelligence research, collection methods and analytical applications and methodologies that includes the evaluation of many diverse sources of information utilizing multiple intelligence information systems in order to develop intelligence capability and threat assessments; demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Expert knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments.
2. Expert knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information / situations attained from multiple sources.
3. Expert knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships, and operations.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to high-ranking, senior-level audiences and IC national-level agencies for decision-making purposes.
6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under compressed timelines.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
