You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Cybersecurity Support (CS) Division, TRIDENT Refit Facility (TRIREFFAC-KB), Kings Bay,
Georgia, Code 640, within the Information Systems (IS) Department, TRIREFFAC-KB Code 600. of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will maintain a current knowledge of all governing guidelines to ensure on-going compliance relative to IS access.
You will file and maintain all documentation and records associated with IS access and accounts
You will process System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) ensuring the form is properly completed and all required signatures obtained.
You will prepare delta review documentation for new and updated Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Security Technical Information Guides (STIG) for implementation

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area level INTERMEDIATE within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Occasional overnight travel is required to attend training, technical meetings and conferences.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with governing guidelines to create, maintain, and remove access to Information Systems, the accreditation cycle of networked and stand-alone Information Systems, Defense Information System Agency Security Technical Information Guides implementation, and Department of Defense/Department of the Navy policies and directives to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
Experience utilizing in Information Systems security requirements to include conducting audit/inspections, Cybersecurity policies/principles, and with Windows Operating Systems.
Experience gathering, analysis, and preservation of evidence used in the prosecution of computer crimes and IA infractions and report findings and submit recommendations for corrective actions.

Education

Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions
Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

Therefore, provide only the attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
