Duties
You will develop short- and long-term plans of actions to support the installations mission requirements.
You will communicate program requirements, changes, and other issues that affect the installations IT programs.
You will collaborate with program managers on the operation of the and execution of the IT mission, functions and tasks for the installation.
You will oversee account managers to ensure compliance with established IT policies.
You will oversee the study and resolution of complex technical issues for installation IT and telecommunication services.
You will review all IT and telecommunication procurements to ensure compliance with IT policies and procurement process.
You will coordinate with customers on developing and implementing IT strategies for backing-up and recovering information to prevent data loss in the event of service operation or performance issues.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising managers and leadership on the planning, operations and oversight, development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the IT systems and applications used to support installation mission; 2) Coordinating with customers on developing and implementing IT strategies for backing-up and recovering information to prevent complete data loss; 3) Identifying IT and telecommunication requirements for all construction, renovation, and demolition projects; 4) Preparing reports on IT program effectiveness and project activities to ensure goals and objectives are achieved or achievable; and 5) Participating in managing contractor performance expectations by negotiating contracts for the design, acquisition, implementation, and operation of IT systems.
