The Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response (CESER) works to strengthen the security and resilience of the U.S. energy sector from cyber, physical, and climate-based risks and disruptions.
Duties
As a Budget Analyst you may:
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

- This position will be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

- This position requires the incumbent to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Performing all aspects of budget analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, execution and review of the multi-year budget submission; AND
Conducting analyses of budget and cost information and advising senior management on the status, availability, and appropriate use of funding; AND
Compiling data from various financial systems to prepare budget-related reports.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
