Serves as a Supervisory Budget Analyst in the Justice Management Division, Budget Staff, Working Capital Fund and Business Transformation Group located in Washington, DC. The Budget Staff has principal departmental responsibility for the development, direction, and execution of Department of Justice's Working Capital Fund, including budget operations; funds control; planning and conducting program reviews related to the Working Capital Fund.

The Department of Justice Working Capital Fund provides a variety of shared services to Department components and external customers and has an annual operating budget of approximately $2 billion. The Supervisory Budget Analyst for the Working Capital Fund and Business Transformation Group will be responsible for:
Coordinate and integrate current and long-range financial planning data for a budget of an organization.
Analyze the potential effects of budgetary actions on program viability and attainment of program activities.
Monitor current information on the status of all operations and maintenance funds to identify actual or potential problem areas.
Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
Development of the Annual WCF Operating Plan.
Engagement with the WCF customers on issues related to WCF operations and funding.
Partnering with the WCF Board of Directors in the development, review, and approval of the Operating Plan.
Budget Execution oversight of WCF providers.
Improvements to process, governance, and transparency efforts related to the Working Capital Fund.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Budget Analyst at (GS-0560-15), you must possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Providing broad administrative and policy direction in the formulation and justification of a budget for an agency; Performing the administrative/human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised; Coordinating/integrating current and long-range financial planning data pertaining to the budgets of an organization.
