Join NASA as the Director of Information, Data, and Analytic Services! Lead a distributed organization enabling NASA's diverse missions through the delivery and modernization of products and services related to data, analytics, records & forms management, and scientific & technical information (STI). Develop and implement organizational and technology strategies and policies to enhance the Agency's effective use and management of IT products and services.
Duties
Leads a diverse, distributed organization providing solutions for complex data challenges, enhancing decision-making and automating processes to support current and future Mission, Mission Support, and Center needs.
Collaborates with the Agency Chief Data Officer (CDO) to enable Agency-wide governance and utilization of information as an asset, via data processing, analysis, data mining, information trading, and other means.
Collaborates with the CDO on development and execution of NASA's data policies and initiatives to include federal data strategies and ensures alignment with NASA's strategy.
Works with Strategy and Architecture Office to create and implement NASA IT strategy, roadmap, and standards for information and data services, inclusive of records and data management, open data, analytics, search, and other capabilities.
Oversees governance, management, and operations of Data and Analytics products including visualization, analytics, cataloging, data sharing, search, stewardship and governance. Leads efforts to transform existing services into NASA-wide capabilities.
Oversees governance, management, and operations of Records Management, Forms, and STI operations. Leads efforts to transform existing services to NASA-wide capabilities, reducing duplication, cost, and increasing effectiveness.
Performs a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
Developing, leading, and inspiring cross-functional teams to meet IT service delivery requirements and formulating new concepts to achieve organizational key objectives;
Providing guidance and organizational oversight of budgets and government contracts to ensure requirements are being met;
Leading data program, data management, data analytics, or data architecture teams that develop or deliver IT capabilities, products or solutions to enable multiple complex and diverse missions and functions.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
