You will serve within the Information, Data and Analytics Services (IDAS) Service Line and will be responsible for providing oversight to a team of service management, project/portfolio management, policy, and business management professionals, that provide cross-cutting support to IDAS. You will also provide support to IDAS functions that may include business service coordination, contracts, resource analysis, human resources, and risk management.
Duties
Ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
Coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods and procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.
Assess program effectiveness in identifying (IAW) established workflow(s) and make recommendation to maintain or adjust actions to accomplish the workload for IAW established priorities amongst the team.
Arrange the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks or projects and provide or arrange for administrative or technical training, if necessary.
Monitor/report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

- If the individual selected is currently at the GS-15 grade level, they will be detailed at their current grade and step. If the individual is a current GS-14 they will be temporarily promoted to the GS-15 level.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level
Providing technical guidance or leading a team or program/project across the agency in developing IT activities to support stakeholder, mission, and Agency strategic requirements;
Collaborating with all levels of management on IT budget, resources, and service level requirements for enterprise and local services;
Advising on IT integrated programs or project portfolios to identify and deliver required IT solutions.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
