You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Product Support Management Integration Department of PEO FOR AIR ASW.
Duties
You will be providing programs with expert Competency advice and insight, integrating and coordinating across all respective Competency departments and sites, and resolving issues at the lowest level.
You will be acting on behalf of the Competency as a senior representative and SME during PEO critical reviews, reviewing and approving key documentation, and coordinating with external agencies.
You will be providing advice and expertise to both the PEO and Competency leadership, and interacting with the programs supported on a regular basis to remain aware of issues and requirements.
You will be communicating and collaborating with the Competency to ensure adequate staffing and subject matter expertise availability. Ensuring proper execution of Competency policies and work processes.
You will be recommending improvements to Competency processes, policies, and guidance and leveraging lessons-learned from programs.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Possessing a complete mastery of the field of Integrated Logistics Support. 2) Executing all supervisory duties and responsibilities for the Competency personnel assigned as direct reports. 3) Recommending improvements to Competency processes, policies, and guidance and leveraging lessons-learned from programs. 4) Serving as a recognized authority on Integrated Logistics Support policies-and procedures and advance state-of-the-art by developing and extending ILS concepts and practices.
