You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Systems Acquisition Group, Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets to include planning, tracking and executing sustainment funds.
You will direct analyses by appropriate activities and implement corrective actions with an emphasis on improving fleet aircraft readiness.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support management to the weapon system.
You will plan and chair logistics and maintenance conferences, as required, throughout the acquisition and support phases to ensure a continuous, effective, and balanced logistics support program.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (DS-05) or grade level (GS-12/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Demonstrating working knowledge of acquisition life cycle management including the development of Business Case Analyses (BCAs), Performance Base Logistics (PBLs), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Logistics Requirements, Funding Summaries (LRFS), and Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs); 2) Preparing and presenting convincing oral and written presentations to any or all levels of government and industry management to effectively prove and justify significant deviations from established logistics policy; 3) Interfacing with multiple stakeholders such as DOD, OPNAV, the Fleet, and other NAVAIR Echelons and Contractors; 4) Leading a diverse team of logisticians through various milestone stages including Early Acquisition, Design interface, Development, Interim Support, and Operations and Sustainment; an 5) Developing, maintaining, and executing sustainment budgets.
