You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the S2 Directorate, Geospatial Division of the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity located in Quantico, VA

Duties
You will serve as a cultural intelligence specialist providing expertise in the planning, development, dissemination, and curation of culturally focused geospatial data and products for Marine Corps operational and training support.
You will develop and plan geospatial modeling combining human and physical geography to enable identification of patterns for operational planning.
You will utilize cultural geography with a specific focus on the evaluation of potential constraints to operations resulting from the interaction between human activities and the physical environment.
You will develop and plans products depicting demographics, human pattern analysis, social fault lines, and natural disaster risk to create themes for use with intelligence map products and services.
You will establish and maintains a strong liaison with community peers to create products to meet needs based on customer requirements and engages with customers for review and feedback.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing the effective incorporation of cultural geography resources into geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) products through appropriate processes and software in accordance with operational requirements; 2) Researching, validating, creating, and curating cultural geography data sources; 3) Develop and plan geospatial modeling combining human and physical geography to enable identification of patterns for operational planning; 4) Conduct independent research to identify shortfalls and provide solutions to meet customer GEOINT needs; 5) Establishing and maintaining working relationships with counterparts to align efforts, identify opportunities for improved integration, and remain current on developments in cultural geography/human geography.
