Duties
You will operate computer systems and telecommunication devices pertaining to UNITY/Customer Service Work and Processing, Emergency
Service dispatch and administration of the Technical Resource Center (TRC).
You will perform emergency electrical load reduction procedures to protect base, city, county, state, and national electrical grids in accordance
with Base Orders.
You will contact and direct the appropriate personnel in the mitigation of alarms, emergencies, and mission impairment conditions.
You will utilize two way radios, Class A telephones, cellular phones, long range pagers, Fire Department and Provost Marshals Office (PMO) "Hot
Lines."
You will maintain and update the Technical Resource Center (TRC) library to include all technical materials such as plans, specifications, utility
prints, maps, operations and maintenance manuals, computer files, and related.
Requirements

- You may be Recalled to Duty outside of normal working hours.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: operating and monitoring computer systems and telecommunication devices related to customer service work, reception and processing, or emergency service dispatch and administration (e.g. UNITY); AND analyzing and solving problems pertaining to equipment, facilities, and services.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector estimating the resources required for short term and long range operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of computer systems and telecommunication devices related to customer service work.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on an equivalent combination of education and experience as follows:
GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
GS-07:
1 full year of graduate level education with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration;
or
superior academic achievement with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.
