Duties
You will perform senior level technical work primarily requiring a practical working knowledge of the function and operation of electrical, water, gas and wastewater utilities.
You will perform senior level technical work primarily requiring a practical working knowledge of facilities management, maintenance and repair.
You will perform senior level technical work primarily requiring a practical working knowledge of the methods and techniques of customer service and relations.
You will perform senior level technical work primarily requiring a practical working knowledge of the function and application of the structural, electrical, and mechanical trades pertaining primarily to facilities management of physical structures.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing functions of the facilities maintenance shop trades including the structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines as they apply to planning and initiating required maintenance, repairs, and improvements to facility systems.

Education
Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.
