You will serve as a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT & SUSTAINMENT PRODUCT LINE of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will plan work schedules and sequence of operations for work force supervised.
You will assign work to subordinates either orally, by providing written instructions, or electronically through the Computerized Facilities Management System.
You will train subordinates in work methods and procedures, proper use of equipment, safety regulations and other regulations and policies established by the Federal Government.
You will inspect work in progress to ensure productivity, efficiency, economy, and safety of operations.
You will advise on the use of general maintenance safety equipment.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You may at anytime be assigned to a similar position at any workstation within the commuting area.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
