You will serve as a PRODUCTION SUPPORT SUPERVISOR (TEMPORARY SERVICES) in the Temporary Service Shop (Code 990), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will supervise several different trades and ensure the effective and efficient management of the planned workload projects assigned to the Temporary Services Division. You will oversee shop processes are being used in the shop and shipboard and evaluate and improve these processes. You will have the technical accountability for the quality and quantity of the work performed by subordinates, requiring a thorough expert knowledge of the methods, techniques, processes, procedures, tools, materials and practices of the trades. You will maintain a high standard of workmanship and compliance for the projects assigned with the procedures essential for quality assurance i.e., reactor plants, surveillance of nuclear work, as well as review of records and procedures.
