You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST within the Modernization Solutions Department of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER.

Duties
You will oversee critical functions in requirements analysis, automated supply systems, and Information Technology (IT) processes.
You will ensure the effectiveness and compatibility of supported systems and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
You will manage and maintain the organization's IT platforms, systems, and infrastructure.
You will assign work to staff, prepare schedules for work, and provide technical guidance and advice to employees.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading and managing Information Technology (IT) project management, systems/process development, and process integration and testing; 2) Providing technical and administrative direction, including setting priorities, goals, and deadlines for accomplishing work; 3) Applying knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing IT operations to ensure accurate delivery of IT products; 4) Developing and recommending short and long-range plans to the department and division; 5) Monitoring the cost, schedule, and performance of contract delivery orders and tasks performed for the division; and 6) Managing resource allocations and performing technical oversight of contracted activities. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
