This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at Fort Meade, Maryland .
Duties
Assist the Chief of Staff to synchronize, organize, and direct all staff functions supporting over 8,700 military and civilian personnel including 33 SES and 5 Flag/General Officers, a $11 billion annual budget, and 31 field activities worldwide.
Represent the Chief of Staff in meetings with senior management in DISA, DoD, Joint Staff, and other federal and non-federal agencies.
Principal interface between the Director/Deputy Director, DISA and the staff, DoD CIO and JFHQ-DODIN managing the day-to-day administrative operations of DISA.
Develop policies to facilitate DISA staff coordination with OSD, Joint Staff, DoD, Combatant Commands, and the Services.
Create business processes that support the mission of the Agency and streamline the synchronization of actions and all aspects of the Agency.
Perform supervisory duties directing a highly skilled and diverse workforce and oversee all of the special advisors to the Director.

Qualifications
Time in Grade Requirement:
For entry at the GS-15 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-14 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-14 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience directing and managing organizational administrative programs responsible for regulatory, administrative, policy development, and operational support; and experience in conducting executive level briefings.
