About the Position: Located XVIII ABN CORPS SENIOR CDR AUG Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with rural and city populations, co-located at Fayetteville, NC centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina, which enjoys a temperate year-round climate and world-renowned colleges and universities. Fayetteville is centrally located between the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and the scenic Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains.

Duties

Monitors functional aspects of the DTS to ensure continued successful operation. Provides timely and reliable technical advice and assistance to internal and external customers on DTS program procedures. Responsible and accountable for setting up user profiles, organization hierarchies, routing lists, etc. Ensures all permission levels, 577s, appointment memos and COL certificates are in compliance with policy and guidelines. Tracks assigned projects from initiation to completion and addresses each within the timeframes prescribed by the supervisor. Coordinates with the installation DTS Defense Travel Administrator to perform a variety of budgetary and administrative functions in implementing the organization's travel program,. Perform Debt Management monitoring. Reviews Compliancy Tool and ensures actions are taken within 30 days of posting and follows through until voucher has been corrected and Compliancy Tool case is closed. Analyzes travel documents and reports available in the DTS. Develops and formalizes policies, processes, and procedures Develop and conduct quarterly DTS training for unit AO/ODTA/Ros. Develop and conduct quarterly DTS training for unit AO/ODTA/Ros. Policies and procedures.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. [remove LL.B or J.D., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes processing travel authorizations and vouchers; analyzing and auditing travel reimbursement vouchers for accuracy and propriety of expenditure of funds; providing advice, assistance and pertinent information on all travel matters to travelers and administrative officials; and acting as a travel administrator in an automated travel system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. [remove LL.M., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
