About the Position: The Financial Management Analyst position is located at Headquarters, US Army Forces Command, Fort Liberty, NC.

Duties
Represent the command on Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC).
Analysis and evaluate all aspects of accounting, management control and risk management.
Oversee and support the daily activities of a work assigned to assist in carrying out the operations of the unit.
Interpret policies and procedures generated by higher headquarters to include implications of immediate-and long-range management activities, plans, and decisions.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Position requires business/temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 25%.
- Position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain Financial Management Certification level 2.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Performs within a multi-functional team responsible for the Risk Management and Internal Control Administration of the commanding units on accounting, financial, and managerial issues; oversee business process to preclude fraud waste and abuse; enforce audit compliance; develop recommendations and findings from staff action visits; implementation of internal control policies as it relates to budgetary and financial processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
