You will serve as a HR SPEC (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Human Resources Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will apply a full-range of information gathering and decision making; and analyze complex recruitment and classification issues and problems.
You will assist in developing short and long-range staffing plans to forecast mission requirements.
You will assess employee turnover patterns and review technological changes and local labor market conditions to provide advise to managers on future staffing strategies.
You will advise managers on creating cost effective and efficient organizations, proper job designs, supervisory ratio, organization and position structures.
You will review position descriptions for accuracy, recommending proper title, series and grade in accordance with appropriate classification standards and guidelines.
You will relay information to employees on changes in policy, directives, and procedures.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of staffing and placement principles, concepts, practices, laws, and regulations; Performing staffing and recruitment placement functions under Merit Promotion and other hiring authorities; Administering guidance to management and employees on various HR staffing and placement.
